Research one of the following physical theatre companies and record your findings in your Process Journal:
What do I need to find out about my chosen theatre company?
1. Background knowledge about the company.
Read information about the theatre company. This can be found on the company's website, in newspaper articles and included in other sources about physical theatre. Make notes on the following:
2. Watch videos of live performances by the company. These may be found on their website or on You Tube. Find appropriate images which detail how the company use the following elements and add them to your PJ:
3. Annotate these images with your observations of how these are used by the company.

1. Background knowledge about the company.
Read information about the theatre company. This can be found on the company's website, in newspaper articles and included in other sources about physical theatre. Make notes on the following:
- When did the company start?
- Were they a reaction to something political or social?
- What type of theatre do they create? (Do not just say physical, be more specific.)
2. Watch videos of live performances by the company. These may be found on their website or on You Tube. Find appropriate images which detail how the company use the following elements and add them to your PJ:
- Movements
- Costume
- Lighting
- Scenery
- Props
3. Annotate these images with your observations of how these are used by the company.
